Ghia Transmission Repairs,
After installing a nice twin carb motor in the Ghia and a long ratio transmission a while ago I had a problem with 2nd gear grating after I really man-handled a gear shift on a hard pull away.
So it was time to remove and repair
Removed the motor and box to strip down
Found 2nd gear Syncro actually cracked through
I had some special DIEHL Syncro rings that I use on performance transmissions
And I installed them on 2nd and 3rd gear
Assembled everything
And motor back
Will finish up today and test drive
